Columbus Insider
Today, I officially became an Experience Columbus Insider (ECI). What does that mean?
Well, I participated in a special 2.5-hour class conducted by Experience Columbus (the convention and visitors bureau for the region) that refreshed me on the wonderful attributes of the city and how anyone can find things to do and see that fit their interests and personal style. (Full disclosure: I say "refreshed" because my wife, Cathe, worked at Experience Columbus for the first 17 years we were married and let's just say she shared a lot with me!) The class today was customized especially for Realtors and I even earned continuing education credits.
Now that I am an ECI, I can take advantage of special previews, events, performances and activities that will help me stay up-to-date on new developments in Columbus and the varied and diverse happenings in the central Ohio area. This increases the value and information that I can provide to my real estate clients, especially those that are relocating to Columbus from outside the area. I love showing off the city, driving people around and acclimating them to the place my family calls home.
