Moog Group Hosts Shred-It Day

On Saturday, April 18, Moog Group, along with Keller Williams Capital Partners, will host a Drive-Thru Shred * Repurpose * Recycle event. It will take place 9 a.m.-noon at their office building at 100 E. Wilson Bridge Rd., Worthington, Ohio. 

Clients, friends and neighbors are invited to attend this 2nd annual event in honor of Earth Day. Local, trusted organizations will be on site to accept and safely manage the items.

Those donating are asked to stay in your car to keep everyone safe and traffic flowing through the parking lot. Let us unload for you!

"We're excited to offer this opportunity for our clients, friends and neighbors to safely dispose of sensitive papers or electronics and/or donate gently-used pieces to others who may be able to use them," shared Glenn Moog, Realtor and team leader of Moog Group, Keller Williams Capital Partners. "It's a great way to take care of our environment and those in our community who might need a helping hand."

Items accepted, in order of the stops, are:

1. Prom dresses and accessories -- new and gently used formal dresses and jewelry (no shoes). Fairy Goodmothers will provide these for free to teenagers who may not otherwise be able to obtain such a dress for special occasions, such as prom.
2. Documents to shred. Shred-It trucks will be on-site to securely collect documents, place them in locked bins and professional destroy them.
3. Furniture and household goods -- gently used furniture pieces with minimal wear, including beds, living room furniture, dining room furniture, dishes, cookware, etc. Items will be collected and distributed by Furniture Bank of Central Ohio.
4. Electronics -- there is a long list of accepted items here. Bring things like laptops, hard drives, phones and small electronics. Accurate IT Services will collect and securely destroy these items off-site. TVs and monitors also are accepted but with a fee based on size of either $20 or $40, which must be paid on site. Cash or check is preferred.
